Our running team challenged the heat at the Leonardo Campus Run last week.
Despite the temperatures being well into the height of summer, plenty of colleagues lined up at the start once again, and everyone crossed the finish line safe and sound. Alongside the fantastic sporting achievements, that’s the most important thing on a day like this!
On the sporting side, there were two reasons to celebrate: two personal records speak for themselves. Congratulations!
“The wet sponges along the route were worth their weight in gold for everyone who ran in the heat. A brilliant service from the organisers!” reports Sabine Lüth, who, together with other colleagues, launched our company running tradition over ten years ago. Off the course too, our team was there to provide loud support and cold drinks for the runners. Thank you for that!
Days like these are simply great fun. Thanks to the organisers and congratulations to everyone who took part. We’re already looking forward to next year!
